Metal so glatt wie Eisregen … w/Dennis, Elias, Pascal (TO A FRIEND)

Episode von EARBVDS von EARBVDS · 26. März 2025 · 2 h 51 min

Buckle up, bvds! We have a new one already! The EARBVDS production engine has been firing on all cylinders to bring you the hottest gossip in town as quickly as possible - and much more: Metal, Memes, and Membranfläche ... but we’re getting ahead of ourselves ...

In this episode, we’re joined by a new set of fantastic guests: Dennis, Elias, and Pascal of the brand new melodic hardcore powerhouse TO A FRIEND. No strangers to the Saarland local scene though, this trio of “true feelings” combines members of THE END IS FANCY, STUBBI OBERWASSER TRIO, THEODOR W. ALFORNO, and, of course, unforgettable scene legends THE DAY WE FALL.

After some very light conversation with our homecoming heavyweights, we discuss another eclectic selection of new tunes, including the recent releases by Spiritbox – Tsunami Sea (00:31:45), Whitechapel – Hymns in Dissonance (00:49:04), Architects – The Sky, the Earth & All Between (01:01:58), Team Scheisse – 20 Jahre Drehorgel (01:27:26), and Mantar – Post Apocalyptic Depression (01:40:15).

As usual, the “lost & found” section of the show comes with a new category! This episode, we don our finest bone crowns and embark on a quest to unearth the most face-melting, skull-sporting albums of all time, the contenders of which are Iron Maiden – Iron Maiden (01:50:26), Misfits – American Psycho (02:03:07), As I Lay Dying – An Ocean Between Us (02:12:58), Ghost – Infestissumam (02:23:09), and In Flames – Battles (02:32:41).

As always, we're happy to provide a Spotify-playlist to complement this episode for your convenience. Check it out!

Most importantly, if you want to see TO A FRIEND’s premier show (together with NEVERLAND and CYANT), get out yourcalendars and save this date: 10 May 2025, Studio 30, Saarbrücken. More info tba soon!

One more thing, as usual: We’re on Discord now! Come join the cult! We would love for you to join the Earbvds family and talk music with us!

Once again, we invite you to come along for this metallic journey of epic proportions.
