Haut(e) Couture w/Lars & Agent (UNDER FALSE COLORS)

Episode von EARBVDS von EARBVDS · 23. März 2026 · 2 h 11 min

Sauté me skin-side and call me a goose: it’s time for another one already! Even though your bvds are still shaking from last episode’s earthshattering heaviness, we’re back so very soon with new tunes, good moods, and a thematically appropriate dose of je ne sais quoi. Voila! Join us, as we effortlessly shift from quakes to quacks with our amazing guests, who are as belly-achingly funny as they are musically gifted: the goose bumpin’, comebackin’, riff-salad-dressin’ Lars and Agent of Saarland’s weedliest metalcore outfit UNDER FALSE COLORS.

After some rendez-vousin’ with our good friends about their latest hors d’oeuvre – the fantastically heavy new EP Zero H.O.M.E. – we discuss another eclectic selection of fresh tunes, including the recent releases by Atlas – Sunder (00:33:55), Fjørt – belle époque (00:45:18), Blanket – True Blue (00:58:16), ERRA – silence outlives the earth (01:07:53), as well as Rosa Faenskap – Ingenting Forblir (01:23:45).

As usual, the “lost & found” section of the show comes with a new category! This episode, we are looking for “the best album by a French band”. So, dust off your berets, grease your mustaches, butter your baguettes, and join us as we saunter along the boulevard of deep cuts and déjà-vus to the exquisite tunes of Birds in Row – Gris Klein (01:38:27), Uneven Structure – Februus (01:45:03), Adagio – Underworld (01:51:00), and last but obviously not least, Gojira – Magma (01:57:31).

One more thing, as usual: We’re on Discord now! Come join the cult! We would love for you to join the Earbvds family and talk music with us!

Once again, we invite you to come along for this metallic journey of epic proportions.
