Kunst und Käse w/Moe (WAY TO PARADISE/FAILED STAR)

Episode von EARBVDS von EARBVDS · 1. März 2024 · 2 h 26 min

In our seventh episode, we return to our usual schedule and talk many things metal. Once again, we are joined by a wonderful guest, the very special Moe from Melodic Metalcore outfits WAY TO PARADISE and FAILED STAR.

After some convo about our guest's musical endeavors past and present, including some red hot information on upcoming releases and shows, we move on to discuss another eclectic selection of heavy music. Spoilers, we all really tried to keep an open mind this time... did we succeed though? Well, you'll see. In any case, we cover the recent outpourings of Being as an Ocean - Death Can Wait (00:31:44), Knoll - As Spoken (00:51:03), and Caligula's Horse - Charcoal Grace (01:10:39), as well as some more dated releases, including Misery Signals - Of Malice and the Magnum Heart (01:28:21), Despised Icon - The Healing Process (01:39:35), Nevermore - This Godless Endeavor (01:48:56), War From a Harlot's Mouth - Transmetropolitan (01:58:31), and Kardashev - The Baring of Shadows (02:12:26).

As always, we're happy to provide a Spotify-playlist to complement this episode for your convenience. Check it out!

Special shout-out to Failed Star for giving us access to (at the time of recording) unreleased material, which meanwhile has been made publicly available on Youtube. Make sure to check out their performances at Stagehouse. If this whets your appetite (as it should) and you want to see Failed Star live, here's your chance: 23 March Jazzkeller Hofheim!

Once again, we invite you to come along for this metallic journey of epic proportions.
