Definitiv kein Pop! w/Max & Michael (GENERATION.F)

Episode von EARBVDS von EARBVDS · 20. Januar 2025 · 2 h 57 min

We have battled funky microphones, winter holidays and wisdom teeth, but eventually our group of intrepid influencers has prevailed and emerged stronger than ever from the cavernous depths of post-production, so that we can finally deliver you our twelfth episode! Multiple moons have passed since we actually sat together around our cauldron of many things music in our crowded little studio in December 2024. But as they say, good things take time! And we promise this will have been worth the wait!

This time, our bottle-throwing coven is blessed by the apparitions of our two spellbinding guests, the exceptionally talented and all-around amazing Max and Michael from Saarland’s finest pop-metal outfit Generation.F!

After some conversation with our enticing guests, we discuss another eclectic selection of heavy music, including the recent releases by Better Lovers – Highly Irresponsible (00:20:57), Fit For An Autopsy – The Nothing That Is (00:34:13), Counterparts – Heaven Let Them Die (00:42:55), Poppy – Negative Spaces (00:51:49), Black Curse – Burning in Celestial Poison (01:04:40), and Linkin Park – From Zero (01:17:37). As introduced in our previous episode, the amended “lost & found” section of the show comes with another category! This episode, we embark on a quest to find the best concept albums, the contenders of which are King Diamond – Abigail (01:35:23), Defeater – Empty Days & Sleepless Nights (01:51:56), Periphery – Juggernaut Alpha/Omega (02:05:30), Twenty One Pilots - Blurryface (02:17:51), Northlane – Alien (02:29:00), and Unleash the Archers – Abyss (02:40:07).

As always, we're happy to provide a Spotify-playlist to complement this episode for your convenience. Check it out!
