#46 Mark Burhop - Siemens' Creative Visionary and Inventor of the Year 2022
Episode von Talking Creativity von Siemens · 25. Oktober 2023 · 1 h 13 min
“Creativity is a spectrum.” And no, it's not Mark Zuckerberg joining us – it's someone even more fascinating: Mark Burhop (Research Professional at Siemens)! Siemens awarded him as Inventor of the Year 2022 in the category Open Innovation. All the way from Princeton, New Jersey, to München to share his unique insights. Mark's on a quest for the coolest things life has to offer and loves building things, especially with 3D printers. When asked if AI is creative, Mark breaks it down: AI can create within its boundaries, but original ideas? Not quite yet. The future, though, might hold some surprises. What to expect from this episode?· Why do the best ideas come up under the shower?· Can machines or AI be creative?· Is Siemens doing enough to foster creativity?· Why designers don´t like to code?· How can you supercharge your creativity? We look forward to hearing about your experiences and opinions. Feel free to write us a comment or directly on LinkedIn.
