MEET Podcast 066 TECHKƎN

Episode von m e e t r e c o r d i n g s von m e e t r e c o r d i n g s · 26. August 2026 · 1 h 01 min

For episode 066 of the Meet Podcast, we welcome TECHKƎN, a techno DJ from Durrës, Albania, whose sound is rooted in deep, hypnotic and psychedelic forms of underground techno.

Built around repetition, layered textures and subtle evolution, TECHKƎN’s sets unfold gradually rather than chasing immediate impact. Pulsating rhythms, restrained movement and immersive atmospheres create a continuous flow, drawing the listener deeper into a trance-like state where tension and detail become the driving forces.

Influenced by artists such as Oscar Mulero, DVS1, Function, Rødhåd and Richie Hawtin, his musical identity connects the raw spirit of early ’90s electronic music with the precision and depth of contemporary techno. Forged through illegal raves and the haze of local underground clubs, his approach remains uncompromising, patient and firmly focused on atmosphere.

Away from the booth, TECHKƎN is currently exploring music production without putting pressure on immediate releases, allowing the creative process itself to remain the priority. At the same time, he is developing his own label and collective with the aim of creating a platform for a shared underground vision.

Meet Podcast 066 with TECHKƎN is a journey into repetition, shadow, tension and hypnotic movement stripped back, immersive and built for those who prefer to go deeper.
